The construction and arrangement of Botra Maria Aromatica are underway within the Botra Maria resort — a unique conceptual garden and recreational space that will consist of a botanical garden with hundreds of different plant species, a pickleball court, and a street basketball court, to ensure our guests have unforgettable experiences in Sv. Petar u Šumi. Pickleball is a new sport combining elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. A sport for recreation and enthusiasts. The court offers a perfect opportunity for recreation, fun, and socializing during your stay in Istria.

Istria is the most famous and highly regarded wine region in Croatia. A true paradise for lovers of fine wines. The In Sylvis winery is located nearby, offering wine tasting in their own cellar. Numerous other Istrian wineries, around a hundred of them, are spread throughout Istria and open to visitors.
The In Sylvis vineyard is located in Sveti Petar u Šumi, in the heart of the Istrian peninsula. Somewhat removed from the settlement itself, it is surrounded by nature and forest tranquility. Planted varieties include Istrian Malvasia, Merlot, Teran, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard's location is unique because it overlooks the Lim Channel (Limska Draga), which ensures the penetration of the Mediterranean climate, and the method of cultivation results in In Sylvis wines characterized by the unique terroir of central Istria. In addition to grapevines, the property has planted Istrian Bjelica olives, figs, and other fruit and vegetable crops that we use in the production of homemade products and meal preparation. The In Sylvis wine offer includes fresh Istrian Malvasia and Florens Rosé, and the Malvasia sparkling wine Tempora Anni, as well as the aged Arbor line (Latin: tree): Malvasia, Cuvée, and the limited series Teran Baćun. The story of wine and the vineyard in the woods is rounded off with luxurious labels in forest tones, unique due to the print on real wood instead of paper. Contact: +385 98 9475 313
The family-run Konoba Doma, in the hamlet of Kranjci, Sveti Petar u Šumi, is managed by the spouses Antonija and Mihael Budak. A pleasant atmosphere prevails in the nicely decorated tavern, which operates all year round, and besides the owners who are always present, you will be served by friendly staff. The tavern is known for its grilled dishes and excellent homemade pasta prepared according to traditional recipes. They also bake their own bread, which is excellent, especially with olive oil. This truly Istrian tavern is worth a visit.
